I don't have time to pick through comments weighing their relative merit. If I see filthy language, I will probably delete it from now on.

Does this infringe on anyones free speech? Not at all. Anyone can start a blog like this for free. But my time and patience isn't endless so I will deal with comments to my blogs as I see fit as I'm sure you will on your site. Keep in mind, a blog doesn't have to allow comments at all.

Jason:

It is illogical that you should be so viciously attacked for simply trying to protect the families in your neighborhood from the greed and carelessness of builders who are interested only in a quick buck. It comes as no surprise to me that your critics, so obviously lacking in intelligence, would use such offensive language.

These ugly, cheaply built houses are being thrown up all over the country. They look horrible next to their reasonably-sized neighbors, who no longer have any privacy from new McNeighbors. To add insult to injury, within ten years, cheap construction deteriorates to the point that the McMansions cost more money to repair than they are actually worth, and the buyers lose everything on a blighted house. What of the builders? They are long gone, having moved to make more money elsewhere.

Why should we sit back and let this happen next door? I want my house to have gained value in ten years! I do NOT want to have lost the investment of my home to a big, ugly blighted, falling down McMansion next door.

Wake up people! Fight for your investment, fight for your homes!
